Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about our machines, testing, lead times, shipping and support.
Company & ordering
What machines does Filling Machine Factory make?
We manufacture tube filling and sealing machines, bottle filling and capping machines, cup filling and sealing machines, coffee capsule filling machines, cartoning machines, labeling machines and pouch/bag packaging machines — as single machines or complete lines.
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a factory-direct manufacturer based in Shanghai, China, operated by Shanghai Mars Industrial Co., Ltd.. Machines are designed, assembled and tested in-house before shipment.
Can you test my product before I order?
Yes. Send product and container samples and we run a free filling and sealing test and send you the video and results.
How long is the lead time?
Standard machines typically ship in about 7–25 days; customized machines and complete lines in about 30–45 days, depending on configuration.
Do you provide installation and after-sales service?
Yes: video technical support, online support, field installation, commissioning and training, field maintenance and repair, and a free wearing-parts kit with every machine.
Can machines be built for my voltage and certification?
Yes. Machines are built for 110–480 V, 50 or 60 Hz, single or three phase, and many models are CE certified.
Do you accept OEM and non-standard projects?
Yes. Many orders include custom change parts, special voltages, extra stations or complete line layouts designed around the buyer's room.
Contact & quotations
How fast will I get a reply?
We reply to every inquiry within 24 hours, usually much faster on WhatsApp during Shanghai business hours (UTC+8).
What information should I include?
Product name and viscosity, container type and size (photos or samples help), fill volume, target output per hour or per shift, power supply and destination country.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. Contact us to arrange a visit and machine demonstration in Shanghai.
Tube Filling & Sealing Machines
Can the HTGF-300 run both plastic and aluminum tubes?
Yes. The machine is offered with two sealing systems: inner hot-air heating for plastic and laminated tubes and a folding (crimp) station for aluminum tubes. Within the same diameter range no mold change is needed; a different diameter needs a set of tube cups.
Can it fill two or three colors in one tube?
Yes. With the multi-color dosing option it fills striped toothpaste or two-tone creams in a single cycle.
How fast is the twin-nozzle tube filler?
120–150 tubes per minute depending on fill volume and product viscosity.
Which fill volumes can it handle?
From 1.5 ml up to 300 ml per tube, with filling deviation of 1% or less.
What is the difference between hot-air and ultrasonic tube sealing?
Hot-air sealing heats the inside of the tube wall and presses it shut; it is fast and economical for plastic and laminated tubes. Ultrasonic sealing uses vibration energy, needs no warm-up and gives a very clean seal on small runs.
Can I change tube size myself?
Yes. Changing tube diameter means swapping the tube cups and adjusting the sealing jaws, typically within 30 minutes.
Bottle Filling & Capping Machines
Can it drop mixing balls into nail polish bottles?
Yes. An automatic ball-dropping station is available before filling.
How does it avoid dripping with thick gel polish?
We use suck-back piston nozzles or peristaltic pumps that retract the product after each dose.
Why a peristaltic pump for essential oils?
The product only touches food-grade tubing, so there is no cross-contamination and changeover is a tube swap.
Does the line handle 1 oz and 2 oz amber droppers?
Yes — 30 ml and 60 ml amber glass dropper bottles are among the most common formats we tool.
Can it crimp perfume pumps?
Yes, a crimping head replaces the screw capper for crimp-neck perfume bottles.
Is it explosion-proof for alcohol-based perfume?
Explosion-proof motors and pneumatic dosing are available as an option — tell us your solvent content.
Cup Filling & Sealing Machines
Can one machine run different cup sizes?
Yes. Each cup size needs its own mold plate, which takes minutes to swap.
Does it use roll film or pre-cut lids?
This rotary model uses pre-cut foil lids; roll-film cutting is available on linear models.
How many cups per minute can a linear cup filler make?
A 6-lane version reaches about 100 cups per minute; 2- and 4-lane versions are proportionally lower.
Is roll film cheaper than pre-cut lids?
Usually yes — roll film reduces lid cost on high-volume products.
Why a piston pump for sauces?
Piston dosing gives consistent volume regardless of viscosity and handles particles better than a gear pump.
Can it run rectangular cups?
Yes, we machine rectangular cup molds to your sample.
Coffee Capsule Filling Machines
Which capsule formats can it run?
Nespresso-compatible, K-Cup, Dolce Gusto-type and custom capsules — each format uses its own mold set.
Why nitrogen flushing?
Replacing oxygen with nitrogen slows coffee oxidation and keeps aroma for months.
Is a rotary capsule filler enough for a small roastery?
Yes — at 600–900 capsules per hour a single shift produces roughly 5,000–7,000 capsules.
Can I run K-Cup and Nespresso on one machine?
Yes, with a second mold disk and lid size.
Cartoning Machines
Can it link directly to a soap stamping machine?
Yes, with an infeed conveyor matched to your stamper output.
Can it insert a leaflet?
A leaflet folder and inserter is optional.
When do I choose a vertical cartoner?
When products are tall or unstable (bottles, droppers) and should be dropped into the carton from above.
Can it pack several items per carton?
Yes, with a collation station before loading.
What speed does the rotary cartoner run?
Speed depends on carton size and loading; we confirm it with your carton sample.
Is it easy to change carton size?
Each size uses its own set of pockets that swap in minutes.
Labeling Machines
Can it label transparent (no-look) labels?
Yes, with a transparent-label sensor.
Can it print a batch code?
A hot-stamp ribbon coder or thermal-transfer printer can be integrated.
Can one machine apply front, back and wrap labels?
Yes, with an extra wrap-around station.
How is the bottle kept straight?
Side belts and a top pressing belt hold the bottle while the label is applied.
Pouch & Bag Packaging Machines
Powder or granule — which doser?
Granules use a volumetric cup doser; fine powders use an auger screw.
Can it print dates?
A ribbon date coder is standard; a thermal-transfer printer is optional.
Which filter materials work?
Nylon mesh, PLA corn fiber and non-woven fabric.
Can it add a string and tag?
Yes, thread-and-tag is an option for pyramid bags.
Is it suitable for medical packaging?
Yes; with medical paper/film and 4-side sealing it produces peelable packs. Validation is done by the user.
Can it count straws into groups?
Yes — 50/100/200-piece counting is available.
