How a tube filling and sealing machine works

  1. Tube loading & orientation (photo-eye registration)
  2. Nitrogen purge (optional)
  3. Piston dosing with suck-back nozzle
  4. Hot-air, ultrasonic or folding seal
  5. Batch coding & tail trimming
  6. Finished-tube ejection
FAQ

Tube Filling & Sealing Machines: common questions

What does a tube filling and sealing machine do?

A tube filling and sealing machine automates these steps: tube loading & orientation (photo-eye registration); nitrogen purge (optional); piston dosing with suck-back nozzle; hot-air, ultrasonic or folding seal; batch coding & tail trimming; finished-tube ejection. It replaces manual work with consistent dosing, sealing and output.

Can the HTGF-300 run both plastic and aluminum tubes?

Yes. The machine is offered with two sealing systems: inner hot-air heating for plastic and laminated tubes and a folding (crimp) station for aluminum tubes. Within the same diameter range no mold change is needed; a different diameter needs a set of tube cups.

How fast is the twin-nozzle tube filler?

120–150 tubes per minute depending on fill volume and product viscosity.

What is the difference between hot-air and ultrasonic tube sealing?

Hot-air sealing heats the inside of the tube wall and presses it shut; it is fast and economical for plastic and laminated tubes. Ultrasonic sealing uses vibration energy, needs no warm-up and gives a very clean seal on small runs.

How much does a tube filling and sealing machine cost?

Price depends on automation level, speed, number of formats and options. Send your product, container and output target and we quote within 24 hours.
